Taking blacksalve internally and at the site simultaneously?Becky02-08-05  08:45 am

While I am generally opposed to internal use of the black salve, a number of people, including persons who are HIV positive, have had remarkable success taking very small quantities of the bloodroot paste internally. No one that I know has compared this strategy to the much safer tonics that are intended for internal use.

imagine my surprise to find this web page. we have had a black salve and a healing salve recipe in our family for 5 or 6 generations. My grandmother was the last one to treat cancer victims. she stopped in the mid fifties. i have seen the results when i was in my teens so i have always been a believer. we use the healing salve today for a myraid of problems. my reason for searching tonite for a possible internal application of the black salve is a good friend is being sent home tomorrow to live out his remaing days because they can do no more for him. do you think there may be a possibility of a tea? of course i will buy the book because of our personal history with the salve, i am anxious to read it. from what i have read so far on your website it sounds like you have recipes for internal doses and since time is of the essence i would really like to hear from you. my e mail ad is below and my ofc tel # is 330 733 6323.
thanks

I want to see if it is safe and feasible to use crude, powdered bloodroot sytemically for excising hundreds of polyps in my patients colon- safety and effectiveness are my concerns- dose per pound, high enough to do the job, but not cause the typical side effects. thanks alot

PS his is not your typical case, black-salve- internal has not really been remarkable.

There is no specific dosage for this product. You sort of have to find your way with it. Half an eye dropper, 3-5 times a day, is a sort of conventional approach, but some people have taken an ounce on the first day and then cut way back. If you are working with a practitioner, as seems to be the case, you might ask for guidance and some way of evaluating the response, such as how quickly you seem to respond, whether or not it is doing the job for you, and so forth.

I know two people who tried this, largely because they were quite desperate. My fear was how to maintain contact with the tissue and then, if one succeeded in getting a reaction, how to keep the area free of infection. I honestly do not know what happened, but I know of a horse that was successfully treated for a melanoma on the anus. I am not sure what to recommend except that you might ask a practitioner with experience to examine your situation and offer an opinion. It would obviously be extremely painful, very challenging, and difficult to control.

I wish you the best and am sorry I can't be more encouraging.

Ingrid,
I have recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer, T2a stage. Is there an herbal treatment for this? I have tuored your website, ordered and read most of your book. Some of my friends are encouraging me to use black salve, but I see from above you don't recommend it. I also see some suppliers recommending black salve tablets for internal use. I would really like to use an herbal treatment for this. Hope you can provide me with this information

I would, in fact, take an internal treatment, but I would do so in conjunction with a very clearly conceived protocol that covered a lot of bases and that included periodic assessments so that you know you are achieving the results you desire.

If you are surfing around, you know about saw palmetto and tomatoes, but you might also want to try the Dr. Christopher tea. It's very effective in reducing sediment and toxicity.

Essiac Tea is of course a very good method for internal cancer treatments.

I'm not sure if this is Kosher or not, but I always buy my Essiac from www.herbalhealers.com I am a member of herbal healers and could personally vouch for their products.

What would make it Kosher is if you can also vouch for the cure. Everyone makes a Essiac formula. Everyone argues over who has the right formula. Everyone sells it, but in 30 years of working with cancer patients, I have yet to meet a single person cured by it. I think it has great ingredients and it probably never hurt anyone except that many are too tired to drink it after hours in the kitchen. If you buy the herb in bulk, it's bang for the buck, and I have no objection at all to using it so long as people do not place inordinate faith in it as a standalone treatment.

I have a page devoted to this in the main part of the site:

I am a holistic therapist and I have a client with hodgkinsons. It is supposedly an incurable form of cancer. I sense that my client needs herbs to help her condition. I will obviously recommend that she bets your book, but I didn't know if there was anything I could recommend in the short term.

Warm Regards,

Clare.

My mother was diagnosed with esophageal and stomach cancer in June. Some friends told her to use black salve internally. I'd never heard of such a thing and would like more information. She's already taking a whole regemin of herbs prescribed by the naturopathic team at her cancer hospital. I could sure use some advice.
Thanks a bunch

Mary Beth,

As you can tell by the answers posted, I almost always advise people to work with practitioners who have experience with the modalities people are contemplating using. Taking the black salve internally may be a very good idea, but it's impossible to know what else your mother is taking, whether there is redundancy, whether her diet supports the success of the herbal treatments, whether she is compliant or likely to abort the process . . . these and many other questions have to be addressed in a proper professional setting with medical histories, discussions, patient education, etc., etc. All I can say is that lots of people take the black salve and I hear of success stories as well as nausea that makes continuing unlikely.

Where can I find Nies Compin? My doctor suggested I try it in a very small dose along with a vegan, live food diet.

I have been using black salve on several moles that I have. The area on and around one of the moles is very red & painful. Is this normal? How long will it take before I can expect results?
