A breast tumor came up suddenly on my 13 year old toy Fox Terrier. I started her on a protocol from Dr. Pitcairn's Natural Health for Dogs and Cats book which consists of giving 3 doses [12 hours apart]of Thuya occidentialis then waiting 1 month and giving Silicea. I am zapping her every day. I am very familiar with Dr. Clark's protocol because I use it myself. What would be the right dose for an animal this small [6-7 lbs.] regarding the parasite cleanse. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I haven't taken her to the vet because I don't have a vet in this area that would use the holistic approach. I know they will tell me she is old and to just keep her comfortable. [I've been there before with another dear pet]. This dog is mine and my husband's baby and I want to do what I can for her. Thanks, G.L. |

Most vets adjust the dosage by body weight. If using a formula intended for people, they generally assume that the person would weigh about 120 pounds, but I would imagine you can find this information doing a net search. My dog is about 50 pounds and I give her approximately a third of a people dose. She is quite sensitive at this level. |

I recently just discovered this website and we're hoping that help can be found. Our 13 year old husky has what seems to be a breast tumor about the size of a small grapefruit. Can anyone give us any direction of where & how to start treatment for this dog? I don't think that there is a lot of time for this dog to live. Thanks so much! Russell Lee |

Don't bother responding. The dog has died. Russell Lee
