I used Alpha Omega Connesa black salve about 5 yrs. ago to get rid of some type of tumor under the skin on the far left side of my mid back. Removal was successful after a few applications. It penetrated somewhat deeply as I was able to see the flesh, but the scab covered it eventually & it came off. However, later,I guess it was a scar that gradually came afterward...it was bigger than the original tumor & I tried several times to get rid of the scar but the salve would not penetrate it. It's not sore but there is itching around it. It is the size of an almond only raised a little higher. Because of the burning sensation that I felt during the treatment, and because I stupidly wore my bra which covered it while the salve was doing its job, I think the salve was mashed onto healthy skin next to the tumor & maybe that is what caused the scarring. Can you recommend another product to reduce or get rid of the scar? Thank you... |

We make a product called Feathered Turtle Ointment. You would probably need to use it rather consistently for several months to see if it will resolve your condition. |

I had a biopsy on a small red spot on my nose about three weeks ago. Thankfully it's not cancerous, but the biopsy left a red spot bigger than the original lesion, and I'm wondering if it's ever going to heal. Would you recommend Feathered Turtle Ointment for my condition as well? |

I have a scar on my face as a result of shingles. Do you know of any ointment or cream that will remove my scars. Thank you. Alex Dalal, Ph.D. |

I used PDQ on some spots on my skin. I had a strong reaction and am concerned about scarring. If I get Feathered Turtle creme (which is supposed to diminish scarring), at what point should I start using it? Should I wait until the scabs are gone and the wounds are dry, or should I start using it while the scabs are still there and the wounds are still oozing? |
