Ingrid,
What an incredible site you have. So much information! Your writings and insight are indeed a blessing to me.
I am a 40 yr old mom of three who have had 3 surgeries for ovarian cancer 5 yrs ago. My husband died of a liposarcoma 7 yrs ago. I realized that I needed to make significant changes in my life which I have already done. I currently practice good nutrition (I eat about 70% raw foods. I used to be vegan but that left me quite weak and so I now eat fish once a week), am a believer in nature as healer (Natural Hygiene), do regular juice fasts & detox, have simplified my life, worked on psychological, spiritual and emotional aspects of my illness. I do yoga, rebounder, massage & hydrotherapy, essential oils, visualization, EFT, proper breathing and exercise. I have studied (I am finishing up my naturopathic degree), researched extensively on my own (read a lot of books and internet) and applied natural therapies on myself and my kids and that’s how I learned most how to listen to my own instincts.
I realize that cancer is a disease of low immune system. Even with regards to fungus (which is a perennial problem for me. The only time I really cleared it was when I stopped eating sugar of any kind, including fruits for 3 months! But it has since returned) I believe that fungus will exist in a harmful state only if its host has a lowered immune system. Otherwise, the immune system will keep the growth of the fungus in check.
I have been practicing as best as possible what I have learned (I find knowledge constantly evolves as I try out new angles and therapies and discard ones that do not work as well) yet a year ago, I found a lump on my right breast. I decided to continue with my learning process and treat (with the help of my naturopathic dr and teacher) the lump naturally. I have come to the conclusion and treat the lump and my fungus (athlete’s foot) as outwards manifestations of what’s happening inside my body. For example, I no longer treat my athlete’s foot with external application of tea tree oil or colloidal silver. I leave it the way it is because I believe I need to address the inner problem. Sure enough, without any external treatment, when I stopped eating all forms of sugar including fruits, the athlete’s foot cleared up. I believe the same with my lumps. I now have 3 lumps. Though I am doing castor oil packs on my breast every night. Ok, so I am not ready to try black salve yet. What I am interested in is Seneca Elixir. I believe that cancer and fungus are closely related because they thrive on same environment … low immune system, acidic, sugar, low oxygen. Would you recommend anything else? BTW, I refused to take a biopsy or mammogram so I don’t know if my lumps are malignant though I took some tests like tumor markers, urine test (HGT I think it’s called), did thermography & ferritin and they came out good and I feel good and so I don’t think it’s malignant. My course of action right now is to try to balance my hormones, boost immune system, treat fungus, monitor my PH level and continue my usual physical, mental & emotional therapies. Any suggestions?
I would appreciate a quick response because I live overseas and would like to purchase your recommendations and send them through a relative who is currently visiting the US. Also, if I do not intend to use the Black Salve yet, should I purchase your book anyway?
Thank you from the bottom of the heart of a kindred spirit :-)

Teresa,

What a courageous and determined woman you are!

I have some theories, just theories, but I am experimenting with some rain forest remedies. My idea is that to survive in a place of intense humidity and heat that is also teaming with termites and bizarre molds and growths, a tree has to be able to defend itself. Most of the defense will be in the bark. Basically, it has to taste terrible, stink, or be capable of poisoning the assailant.

This said, you are right that sugar nourishes the growth of microorganisms so to keep them in check, you control th milieu with alkalizing foods, but if you carry this to an extreme, you risk depletion of what is needed to sustain life so you need to find a balance that works. I suspect you know this and are addressing the challenge.

You can write me privately.

Blessings!
