I used the Black Salve for 4 days. After that I just continued to keep it bandaged and used pet. jelly to keep it moist. Today the center of the affected area (mine looked like a bulls-eye) came out. THis was the area which had the tumor. The thing that came off was flat and white. Although there is a crater in the skin, the middle of the crater still appears to have part of the tumor left. It is more raised than the other parts of the crater. Could this just be the new skin forming from the bottom most part of the skin or could part of the tumor still be left? Is it possible for Black Salve to only get part of the tumor? If it hasn't removed all of it, what do I do next?

Hello again!

In addition, I would like to say that I am pretty sure this is still a portion of the tumor. Since the scab just fell off, I was wondering that if I use goldenseal and myrr, will that totally prevent scarring tissue? I will probably need to repeat this process again and I am unsure if the black salve will cause scar tissue to form.

I am going to order your book, but it will probably not come in time for me to make adjustments to my protocol right now. Thank you in advance for your concern and reply!!!

Louise,

Read what I just posted for Barbara since she asked a question that had some bearing on your situation.

Basically, it's impossible to know what is happening without seeing it. I don't know where you are, but I would suggest you try to have the next dressing change in an office where there is someone familiar with this process because this is the most critical stage of the treatment in terms of assessing how to proceed. At least, you should take digital pictures and email them to a practitioner who is conversant with the method.

Scarring is a separate issue . . . and, yes, you surely should have read the book before starting. Adding turmeric to the paste will reduce scarring and you can use an anti-scarring preparation afterwards. I am experimenting with a new formula that I hope will address this need.

Meanwhile, I can't emphasize enough how important it is for you to get some expert input at this stage.

Thank you Ingrid.

I try not to beat myself up over not being as prepared about the salve because I found this website and your book well after starting the black salve. Someone led me to the information of a lady in another state who has used a black salve and helps others with the whole process. Unfortunately, the information was not as comprehensive as I gather your book is. I wish I would have found your information first.

BUt... now I feel totally lost. I am ordering your book and also trying to schedule an appointment with Judith Andrade in Toronto. Is going through the bookstore the correct way to schedule this? Will she then call me when I send in the money and information in check-out? Will I get an appointment right away? Also, is she a medical doctor who could prescribe pain relivers? Sorry for all the questions!

Until I get more information I am at a standstill, yet I feel I need to do something now before I lose a window of opportunity. I really think the tumor is still present and I don't know what to do now while I wait for my chance to see Judith. Should I continue to heal the area totally or start black salve on it again. I am so wanting to get better that I could take the pain again with pain relivers if thats what was needed.

I am also doing other things such as ph balance, sulferized omega 3's, rm-10, juicing, NO sugar, whole foods and pancreas enzymes on a consistant basis. My lifestyle has never been so healthy. I am looking into the syrup you recommend.

Thank you so much for your advice. I look forward to any information and advice you can give to me while I wait for medical help.

Maybe the protocol I was given would be helpful for you. I was instructed to use the black salve for 5 to 7 days by applying it for about 5 to 10 hours a time. I managed to do this for 4 days without a prescription. It was, at the least, unbearable. During this time I was to keep vaseline on it at all times and to wash it with peroxide when I changed the bandages. After the white area falls off, I am supposed to apply vaseline with myrr and goldenseal and keep bandaged until healed. I was told I would most likely have to repeat this process two or three times after healing had ocurred in my case of breast cancer. I so far have followed it to the letter.

I understand if you are unable to help me due to the fact that your protocol was not used. Thanks again!

Louise,

Yikes. I think you can understand that I wish you didn't have this question and that if you did, you asked someone else. However, you did ask me and others probably have similar questions.

Obviously, I am not in a position to say how any particular product should be used. The producers have to advise on the best use of what they supply.

This said, I was on the phone this evening with a medical doctor who happened to ask what I would suggest instead of petroleum-based gels. I told him I would never use such a product. I suspect there are two reasons for the use: (1) to limit reactions outside the target area in case the paste oozes, and (2) reduce irritability and inflammation. Neither reason is good enough for me.

The best way to prevent unwanted spread of the paste is to use a paste that is the right consistency and to use a very effective bandaging method such as an occlusive bandage. When an application is placed on a treatment area, let's say 3 centimeters in diameter, and then a zone around it is coated with an ointment, the dressing has to be much larger. The adhesives in the dressings are irritating (and often toxic) to most persons so using a larger bandage is not particularly desirable.

If the goal is to reduce inflammatory responses, we really need to ask what is killing the tumor: the chemical reaction or the heat? We don't actually have a perfect answer to that question, but we do know that the inflammation is an immune response and it is this response that prevents infection.

I cannot speak against goldenseal and myrrh because I have recipes for them in my book, my own recipes. I developed a product called Golden Myrrical (for goldenseal, myrrh, and calendula) but the calendula is an infused oil that can be made into any texture needed. However, much as I love this product, I have gone out of my way to tell people that it is only useful for a day or two right after the eschar detaches. I have no experience that would suggest that continuous use is helpful. It obviously isn't harmful, but it doesn't work "miracles" over a sustained period of time. The major benefits are seen in the first 24 hours of use.

So, you are now in a situation in which you have begun and you are looking for nuances that will make the treatment safer and more bearable. These are very well described in my book . . . and it's not too late to read the book.

As for a consultation, you can send Judith an email at dtp@idirect.com. She is a nurse, not a doctor, but there are many pain relieving herbs available over the counter that are adequate when used skillfully.

I wish you a successful and easy outcome.

I have a question. My sister was diagnosed with cancer, tumors throughout all her body, so bad the Dr said nothing could be done. She tried black salve but it would not stick or turn red or anything. Does anyone know why it would not work? We used the one with bloodroot and zinc chloride. Thanks

It's very difficult to answer this question. It's possible that the product was not produced correctly or that the method used in applying it was ineffective or that contact was not maintained long enough or that the condition simply is not responding because what your sister has is not really cancer or something else I can't explain with the information given. Some people have very slow responses, three days.

I don't have an answer but I wish your sister luck.

My name is Kristie, there is a knot in my neck that came up about 6weeks ago. The doctor is treating it like an infection but nothing is happening, therefore she want to cut it open to find out if it is cancer. My granny gave me black salve and I used, well needless to say it scabed over and is very painfull. Does this mean that I have cancer, and if so do I put it on everyday because my directions say to wait 7 days to reapply?

It's so hard to know what to do. However, basically, the reaction is not proof positive of cancer since it is possible that infections would produce the same kind of inflammatory response with pain, blistering, and everything you are now experiencing. I wish people would prepare a little more before starting because there really are less drastic ways to approach such conditions, but the best I can usually do at this juncture is try to connect people with practitioners with experience who are in their area.

Good luck,

Hi My name is Christie and I used bloodroot black salve on what looked like a cyst next to my knee on the outside of the leg which has been there for about 20 years. Apparently this is not a cyst, or it is and has put down roots thru out the entire region of the back of my thigh, in the crease of my knee, and into the balk of my calf. I had no idea the thing was this widespread until I applied the salve. However, this is a very difficult area to keep bandaged, and air gets at it frequently. I now have pockets of ulcerations all over my leg, but nothing seems to be "popping out" or showing any inclination to do so. It burns and itches alot, and keeps finding new sites to conquer. I'm afraid it's going to stop working and just leave my leg this way. Any ideas?
Will order your book asap- thanx, Christie
