Hello,

I am trying to find an effective treatment for my australian shepherd- he has tumors the size of softballs on one side of his neck and throat- they are pushing his trachea and esophagus over. He cannot bark nad has lost 45 pounds. I am trying black salve tablets. What other herbal remedies are there?
Thanks.
Tony

Hi Tony

Sounds horrible for the poor dog, I have 3 dogs myself.
There is a herb called paw paw and you can purchase the herb from Sunshine herbs based in Ontario, or you can purchase the herbs from me. They have been doing alot of studies with the paw paw and have had great success.
My e-mail is dklaver4@shaw.ca
or check with Sunshine herbs..

God Bless
Debby

My dog has a lump forming on the side of her snout. Any suggestions on how I keep it bandaged for the 12 hours a day. If she pull the bandage off do you know if the salve will still be effective and just possibly a longer process?

I don't think this site lends itself to bandaging. You would need to try a different strategy with a product not requiring bandaging.

Good luck!

We have had excellant luck with the Black Salve and our pets. Our dog had a huge tumor on the back of his neck and the vet said that he would not risk operating on Shadow, as he was 17 years old and would most probably not make it through the operation. I started using Black Salve at a friends suggestion and within a couple of weeks the tumor's core dropped off. He perked up for a while, but like I said, he was 17 so it didn't make him any younger and we eventually had to have him put down...but he was tumor free. Our Beagle then developed a small lump on her ear. I tried different things as she sometimes developes fungus things, with her ears so long...usually they will clear up with alcohol but this one did not and kept growing at an alarming rate, it was really ugly and I could tell it bothered her. I decided to try the Black Salve but couldn't get a bandage or wrap to stay on (She'd pull it off right away) so I just dabbed it on the spot and was amazed at how quickly (just a couple of days) the large "pimply" looking growth disappeared! She has no scarring and it's never returned.
Now, I am using it on a mole that starting growing and was sore. I have never experienced so much pain, but hope that it works as well on me as it did my two dogs!
