In your book you state that you do not like internal use of black salve because of the caustic nature of the zinc chloride.

The preparation I used externally on a breast/chest tumor does NOT contain zinc chloride. It was clearly eschoratic as I removed a huge tumor and everything is clearing up nicely. Using a bioenergenic scan, some malagnancies still showed up in my bones. I want to use the black salve internally for this. Do you have any advice for me in this area? I could not find this addressed in your book. WIll I notice any discomfort in my bones? Using the salve in this manner, how are the malagnancies excreeted out of the body? Thank you for your help!

Ali,

I think this is unpredictable. As I understood the work of Mohs, zinc chloride has a tendency to penetrate malignant tissue more than healthy tissue. I actually found this out by accident when someone in Canada handed me a bottle of zinc chloride in which the lid was loose and I spilled it all over my hands. Except for a few moments of panic, the incident was entirely uneventful.

However, the zinc chloride will react with metal. I would therefore tend to think it could not be used by persons with surgical implants (like pins and rods) -- and most people who take the preparation containing zinc chloride complain of nausea, but I think some of them would have the same experience with bloodroot. I have a feeling that part of the nausea is actually die off of fungal type conditions and it can be quite acute (meaning a lower dose makes it more tolerable.)

I have tried some experiments on myself. This isn't too reliable because so far as I know, I never had cancer. When I make an alcohol extract of bloodroot, galangal, and zinc status (which is harmless), it seems to mobilize residues in my body. The most detectable is coffee. I am not what is called a heavy coffee drinker, but I have been sipping since age four. The pores of my skin smelled like coffee for three weeks. I honestly do not know what this means. I am reluctant to ask others to try it to find out how others respond.

This said, we do know a bit about the bloodroot paste when used internally. It aggressively destroys infections, I think especially viral ones. More and more studies are coming in suggesting this to be the case. However, it would appear that it does nothing whatsoever of an immune boosting or regenerative nature. I am a little surprised by this, but it obviously leaves the door wide open to new formulation.

So, let's imagine that internal use did attack metastatic lesions in the bones. The risk, as has been told to me by people who later denied saying this, is that if the tumor were large, the bones would break. This suggests having some idea of the size of the malignancy as well as reducing stress (such as weight and movement) to the areas that might be fragile.

Secondly, I would think it's very worthwhile supplying the nutrients needed to regenerate the bones. The most interesting work I have ever seen on this subject involves the use of coral implants by a surgeon in France. He drilled out the malignancy and inserted wedges, like coral corks, into the bones. X-rays taken at six month intervals showed that the bones had completely remineralized over a period of three years (and these were fairly large holes.) The area that had been treated was imperceptible on the x-rays. This is fabulous news because no one really knows how bones heal. Common sense, however, tells us that they need minerals.

My experience is that between the blood and bones, the blood has first dibs on the minerals. The pH balance of the blood is more critical to survival than the demineralization of the bones. Therefore, if someone is highly acidic, it stands to reason that minerals will be leeched from the bones which will then become pitted and weak.

Practically nothing supplies the necessary nutrients on a long-term basis better than fresh juice, especially from green vegetables, but carrots are fine also. I always told all who consulted me to drink at least two 8-ounce glasses a day. This is much less than the Gerson diet, but the body assimilates what it needs.

Next, I would test the pH of your water. We forget how important water is, how absorbent it is, how valuable it is. If the pH of water is neutral, it has much more capacity to detoxify the body. Many people today are drinking acidic water. Even some bottled water is hugely acidic. You can add tiny amounts of trace minerals to the water to correct the pH. This, for some, may be one of the most important life style adjustments they take.

Your big question was about discomfort. The answer is, I don't know. Bone conditions can be very painful, excruciatingly painful. However, if the process is gradual enough, the changes may be hard to notice. I really can't predict how this would work, but I get the sense you plan to try this.

You have developed a faith and appreciation in what you are doing. I hope you will let me and others know what happens because this is how we learn.

I wish you the best.

I have recently come across a web-site called hidden mysteries. There is a book out called Cancer, Why are we still dieing to know the truth, by Philip Day. He states in his book that vitamin B17 which is found in Apricot seeds heals and kills cancer. I have used the Bloodroot myself and am waiting for the book from Philp Day. It might be interesting to check out his book also.

God Bless

That's laetrile. The doctors with the most experience with it are the Contreras family in Tijuana. They have stated in lectures that they believe 12% of patients who take laetrile have some benefit and 3% are cured. Nevertheless, I feel that nitrilosides have a place in the broader approach to cancer treatment.

Ingrid,

THanks for your response about the internal use. I have started taking it and other than feeling sick to the stomach for an hour I am experiencing pain in my bones. Some bones are hurting that are not even near the original tumor site. I'll just keep going and see what happens.

But....now I have another question. In your book you make the statement that it is fairly easy to "close up the site" of a fallen eschar. My eschar fell off four weeks ago and the area does not look really different from that time. I do still get some discharge. Am I right by figuring that I SHOULD NOT close the site at this time? I have received consultation help deciding if the area was clean of malignancy. Then I was advised by this person to ONLY use vaseline until healing. I know you and him have differing ideas on this matter. Could you please detail out for me exactly what I should use (or soon if drainage is still an issue)to close up the area? Thank you for helping me to clear up what I am still confused about!

I'd ask the person selling the tablets for an opinion . . . my experience with them is cursory.

To those taking blood root internally, I have also, even with some zinc in it, just using tiny doses. I take it on a full stomach and have no nausea or even heartburn at all. I haven't noticed that it did anything. I have discontinued for now. I didn't notice that it affected my mouth ulcers at all.

I have never had cancer, and I wish you all wellness and comfort.

Ingrid:

I was diagnosed with skin cancer on my lower lip just last week. Surgery was their answer. Since then I have been reading everything I can to find about alternative uses such as the Black Salve, Compound X, etc. By reading just some of your Question & Answers I’ve learned that I need to order your book.

My question is simply this, can I use any of these products on my lip and what cautions should I take. I know that I can not use anything with zinc chloride in it because I have metal in my neck from previous surgery.

Larry,

You can try something much gentler, but you might also try to determine whether there is a reaction occurring between the metal in your neck and dental restorations.

Good luck!

I've been suffering from itchy, puffy eyelids and lower neck area for about 4 months now. I'd thought about taking Can-X tablets as a purifying agent, but your talk on bloodroot has put me off a bit. I've done Can-X externally, to good effect, twice on moles. Are the tablets really so harsh?

fyi
am on day three of the can-x tablets....don't feel a thing! Had done a juice fast/cleanse before I started, perhaps that's helped lessen any potential side effects? Or....don't have anything in my system for it to work on? Maybe the rash is bacterial or allergy related?
