I have heard of a salve that detects cancer by
placing on skin and it changes color. Is there
such a thing

Not exactly. You need to read my book. Some people will tell you that if there is no reaction, i.e., no change in the area where the salve is placed, there is no cancer. In fact, the cancer may be there but it is deep or slow to react. Likewise, just because there is a reaction, it doesn't mean there is cancer, but there is probably something abnormal in the tissue that reacts with the salve. Moles react as do infections so this rule is anything but reliable.
