Hi, i have a unusual problem that i despertly need some guidence. I noticed a fairly large lump (2.5cm) in my left inner thigh/groin area about 3 months ago. Ive had an MRI and it says that its suspected of being an enlarged lymph node. I went to a surgeon and he wants to remove it right away. He said its large, somewhat hard and irregular shaped that could be a tumor. I cant make up my mind what to do. I dont feel "right" about having a lymph node removed. I am very healthy other wise. Not on any medications, 49yrs old, 175lbs, 6ft. I have been on a natural, healthy program now for over 2yrs. Is there any advice that anyone can give me? I have also seen an alternative doctor here in PA and he has me putting castor oil packs on the lump with heat, but i dont think he is being aggressive enough. The big question is do i get this taken out or not? Does this mean i have cancer? How do i know what kind of program to go on if i dont know what i have? Please help, Lee Steinert. Thanks!

I had a lump in a similar place, about 4-5 inches long and several others in the abdomen. They all went away when I took Compound Syrup Scrophularia regularly along with my cleavers tea. It was a painless solution. I personally did not have a need to know whether the lumps were infectious or not because I would have walked my talk regardless, but the choice is always individual.

Ingrid, thank you so much for your advice. I just ordered the syrup and the cleavers tea. The only thing that im confused about is how do i know im not dealing with cancer? That is what the surgeon is trying to tell me. He said the tumor must be taken out and have a biopsy. I had a small lesion removed with black salve on the left leg about 1yr ago. The surgeon thinks that i didnt get it all out (which i find hard to believe)and that it might have been a type of skin cancer which is why the lump in my lymph node. I have been on a natural program for 2yrs yrs now, (been doing 2 to 3 cleanses developed by Dr. Shulze per year)I realize alot of people have proplems like this because of there life style but you would think that if i changed my life style over 2yrs ago i would not have a proplem like this. Sorry for going on so long, just trying to figure this out. One more thing, is there a salve that i should be using on the lump? Thanks again, Lee Steinert.

Lee,

Different tissues of the body renew at different rates. Basically, you can have all new skin on the palms of your hands in a day, all new blood in 120 days, but some tissues live for many years and some problems are not resolved by the specific life style and dietary changes embraced by different individuals.

Detoxifying diets are basically bitter. They affect the liver and blood and eventually other parts of the body, such as the colon and skin, but they do not necessarily remove mucus so much as excess sugars and toxins. So, really, not only does one diet or program not fit all but what is needed at one stage of the healing is different than what is needed at another stage.

Patients have to be willing to engage in a simply tremendous amount of self-education or retain the services of a qualified consultant who can help each person to tweak at critical points along the way. I personally get rather annoyed with people who project the same regimes on everyone.

In any event, what works best in terms of prevention is not necessarily as effective when applied after the fact. What I mean is that studies show conclusively that certain herbs will protect from damage if given before the radiation or carcinogen but they are less effective when given later. This is not to say that nothing will work, but one has to find what will work and for whom and at which stage of the process.

Many people have serious underlying infections that tax the lymphatic system. In my opinion, many of these infections are due to vaccinations, overuse of antibiotics, and previous conditions that were not treated properly. Until these are resolved, there will be excessive burdens put on the lymph to drain off all the debris that clogs the lymphatic channels and nodes.

Hi Ingrid, thanks again for the information. I think i understand whats going on now. I was curious if you do phone consultations for a fee. Would love to talk to you for a half hour or so. Also was wondering if there is a salve that i should be using to put directly on the lump/tumor? Thanks Lee Steinert

Yes, I do a limited number of consultations. As you can imagine, running 12 web sites and doing all the shipping myself does not leave a lot of extra time, but I like taking on the challenge of what to do when "everything" else has failed.

Diagnosed with breast cancer in 9/98. Had a lumpectmy in 8/99 after trying to eliminate the tumor myself through shark cartilage, mgm, and several different products. I was doing soy shakes at the time as I had read soy was good for the body. What I found out after the tumor was removed is that my tumor was estrogen positive so by consuming the soy I actually was feading the tumor. Diagnosed in May/00 with breast cancer in the lungs and actually finding out now their was also cancer in sternum and right pelvis area which was present in May but missed. Been on tamoxifen since May/00 and recently was given a shot of Lupron to put me into menopause and reduce my etrogen levels as that is what is feeding the cancer. This morning I felt a lump in my breast which they have told me is a cyst but it feels hard like a tumor like I experienced in 1998. It is the same breastas my initial breast cancer. Need to know if I can use the salve, etc, will it interfere with the tamoxifen that I am taking twice a day.

Also want to know if there are any doctors in the Ann Arbor, Plymouth, Detroit, Michigan area that I could work with in using the black salve and herbs. Thank you for your help and for providing this service.

I'm not sure if there would be a reaction between the Tamoxifen and salve, but given that your condition is systemic, you probably need a treatment that is systemic rather than local. Have you checked with alternative practitioners in your area?

You can always go to Toronto if you can't find someone you trust in Michigan.

Best wishes,

I'm kind of in a panic becuase I've always had a sort of 6th sense and the other day I had this random thought of cancer. Ever since then I've been paying careful attention to how my body acts. Tonight I got so curioius that I began to research it and found that I have a few of the 7 warning signs of cancer. What do I do? I'm in college and don't have much money. Not that anyone WANTS cancer, but I really can't afford to have it. Im in KC, MO area. Does anyone know of any good doctors around here?

You might try detoxifying your body and reducing the risk factors associated with cancer. You might also try some visualization exercises to shift the thoughtform from fear to management, for instance you might ask your immune system to seek and destroy abnormal cells and protect you from harm.

Good luck.

Hi Ingrid,

I have a 6 year old cat who has been battling fibrosarcoma (non-vaccine related) for one year 2 1/2 months and counting. We have had a CAT scan, MRI, X-rays, blood work and 6 surgeries on her hip area. We have removed so much of her right side that we are now down to bone. Radiation is not an option for this area and I think Chemo is not for her. She is on IP-6, Beta-glucan, Transfer Factor and Flaxseed twice a day. She also was on Esiac tea but it didn't seem to agree with her. So, would the black salve be something she could benefit from? I am not giving up and nor is she. Can she do the black salve and the internal capsules as well? Please let me know for TinkerBell is recovering as we speak and I am wanting to start on this ASAP if this is something that can be done.

Thank you,

Ami and Tinker Bell

Ami and Tinker Bell,

The black salve is an option. It's never a sure shot but when it works, it is remarkable. For a cat, one would use a very, very tiny amount, maybe no more than something the size of the grain of rice.

Good luck. It sounds like you are both giving this your utmost.

HELP!!!!
I have a large tumor in my pelvis, with a history of malignant melanoma. My Dr.'s believe this is still the melanoma, and want to do a very large incision to remove it.
I have decided against surgery and am 12 days into the Dr. Schulze cleanse. I did strictly juicing the 1st 6 days, then added on some raw foods. I became so weak that I began to eat Kichadi (an Ayurvedic dish) 2 days ago. I started the Black Draw poultice that Dr. Schulze suggests, about a week ago. It contains: red clover blossoms, chaparrel leaf, poke root, goldenseal root powder, activated charcoal, tea tree oil, Bentonite clay, slippery elm bark, garlic, and I mixed it with water and apple cider vinegar. I am getting the burning, pulsing, pain and my skin is deeply red and scabbing......
My question is: Is this salve safe? I have not read your book and just found your site, so I haven't read all your writing yet. But I am doing this unsupervised, and although I trust my ability to heal, I want to make sure I am using the best method of healing. I am not going to continue using the poultice until I have more information.
Thank you.
Becca

I forgot to say that there is also bloodroot in the poultice.

Becca,

That was a rather big omission. It could account for the redness and scabbing. I only know one person who used the Schulze poultice. She used it on a site that was open. You would have to consult him or someone using his protocols for more in depth information. This said, as a general rule, it's not good to abort a process after stirring it up.

The redness suggests inflammation and therefore increased blood circulation. Now, you want to be sure to destroy whatever is malignant or morbid so stopping might be a formula for regret. It's hard to say, but this would be true with the protocols that are familiar to me.
