My dog has an inoperable cancer of the leg. Would bloodroot be helpful in ameliorating this condition and if so in what form should it be administered?

My Irish Wolf Hound, "Murphy" refuses food, even table scraps. He has been found swallowing, and vomiting undies, and socks. There is a continuing gurgle in his belly, (and under his ribs) his nose is very warm, and he stopped doing his normal daily routine. This has been going on for 10 days or so, his vet did an xray, and nothing was seen. What further steps should I take? Could there be something stuck in his intestines?

What has your vet suggested for Murphy? You could try giving him a lot of olive or sesame oil to see if this loosens something that is stuck. However, if he is swallowing intimate apparel, I think you should examine his behavior to see if the items that retain most of your scent are somehow appealing to him, like maybe he wants to be closer more hours each day? It's certainly curious, but the food aversions and vomiting could be serious and the other issues may and may not be related.

Good luck!
